Patrick and Nicole Sarjeant run a careful, registered pest control service across the Waikato. We sort the problem at the source, keep your family and pets safe, and stand behind the work.
Tap a pest to see the signs to look for and how we treat it. If it walks, crawls or flies, chances are we cover it.
Signs
Droppings in cupboards or the roof void, gnaw marks, scratching at night, a musty smell, chewed wiring or insulation.
Our approach
Lockable, child and animal proof bait stations placed where rodents travel, plus proofing advice to stop them coming back. Numbers climb fast in a mast year, so we treat thoroughly.
Rats & mice controlSigns
Damage to gardens and fruit trees, noise in the roof, predator pressure on native birds and lifestyle blocks, livestock and orchard losses.
Our approach
Targeted predator management on land and on the water with our branded vessel. We work alongside Iwi and Government toward the Department of Conservation's 50 year Predator Free goal.
Predator managementSigns
Wasps coming and going from a nest in a bank, wall cavity or roof, heavy wasp traffic near eaves, or clusters of flies indoors.
Our approach
We locate and treat the nest directly so the colony is dealt with, and advise on knocking back fly numbers at the source.
Wasps & fliesSigns
Roaches around the kitchen, behind appliances or under sinks, small dark droppings, an oily smell, or sightings at night.
Our approach
Targeted gel and residual treatment in the harbourage points and runs, with advice on cutting off food and moisture.
Crawling insectsSigns
Ant trails across benches and skirting, nests in the garden or walls, webs through the eaves and corners, or spiders settling indoors over autumn.
Our approach
A residual perimeter and interior treatment that targets the trails and harbourage, knocking numbers down and keeping them out.
Crawling insectsSigns
Flea bites around ankles and pet bedding, silverfish in damp cupboards and bathrooms, or general nuisance insects through the warmer months.
Our approach
An interior treatment matched to the pest and the rooms affected, with simple steps you can take alongside the treatment.
Crawling insectsSigns
Small round holes in timber, fine powder beneath floorboards, framing or furniture, and weakened wood in older homes.
Our approach
Inspection and treatment of affected timber to stop the lifecycle and protect the structure over the long term.
Timber & fabric pestsSigns
Damage to wool carpet, clothing and stored fabrics, small moths in wardrobes, or pantry moths and grubs in dry food.
Our approach
Treatment targeted to the affected areas, with advice on storage and cleaning to break the cycle.
Timber & fabric pests
A lot of our work is in family homes, on lifestyle blocks and around animals, so safety is built into how we work. Our bait stations are lockable, child proof and animal proof, and the bait stays where it belongs.
Possums, rats and stoats put real pressure on native birds, gardens and farms. We run a dedicated, sign-written vessel for possum, rat and stoat management on the water, and work alongside Iwi and Government to help achieve the Department of Conservation's 50 year Predator Free goal.
